The CAM1 requires at least a 100MHz Pentium PC with 16 Mbytes RAM and a SoundBlaster compatible 16 bit sound card. A faster PC, and more memory will reduce data loss, and allow longer Doppler spectrum traces to be recorded.
At least a 256 colour video mode is required for the Doppler spectrum display. The 24 bit true colour mode is better, since it does not produce strange colours in a window when it loses focus.
At least a 800 x 600 graphics resolution is recommended.
Windows 98 or Me operating system. Windows NT and Windows 2000 is not supported.
At least one free ISA expansion slot. ( AT 16 bit IO slot ).
